The Crappiest Thing In Our House.

Remember this post?
Well, I finally took care of it.  I bought myself the cheapest bookshelf I could find.  Jealous?

Davin was unimpressed.  I mean super unimpressed.  But as he says "A  happy wife is a happy life.", so he shut up and bought it.  Then he had to put it together...without a hammer.  This made him angry.  If you know my husband you know anger is an unusual emotion for him.  I was amused that he was slamming little nails into my bookshelf with a wrench, I couldn't help it!

Then he tells me "Alli, this is a piece of crap.  This is the crappiest thing in our house."  I started to laugh.  "I mean it!" he says.  I start to laugh harder.

Our couch and our loveseat are off ksl classifieds.  Our rocking chair?  Walmart.  Our kitchen table?  Free from a friend.  Our dryer?  Free from a friend.  Our bed?  Davins parents old bed.  Oh my, I could go on and on about how our house is a mix of stuff we bought used or was given to us as charity.  and he's mad because my $16 dollar bookshelf is crap?

I started crying.  Started with the laughing so hard you can't breath and ended up with the full on crying.

The crappiest thing in our house?  Please.
Now I'll love that bookshelf forever.  I'll also buy my husband a hammer.

I took this lovely pic today.  No make-up, hair took me about one minute.  Oh well, it's all about the belly.

Twenty four weeks, but I'll be twenty five weeks in a couple days.

Things I want to remember:

I've lost about 10 lbs so far.  No complaints here.  Don't you worry, I'm healthy and the baby is fine.  When you have as much weight to lose as I do, the doctor doesn't worry about 10 lbs.

Baby is a wiggle worm!  She's much more active at this point than either of my other girls were.

The arthritis in my legs.  Not fun, but at least I haven't been hit with the swine flu this time.  I'll take the leg pain, thanks.

Have a good day!

This story makes me laugh. I'm glad Davin is getting a hammer out of it!
