True Love, Alli Style

Usually when you hear about "true love" you hear about big romantic gestures or dramatic situations.  I'm not much for romance.  Just ask my poor husband!  He does try.

Here's what true love looks like to me:

My husband coming home with a full case of my favorite kind of milk.

When he gets up with Ava in the morning and lets me sleep a little bit longer.

When he lets me buy super over priced popcorn from the theater, even when we're not going to the  movies.

The way he lets me move all the time.  This was our fifth move in just over three years.

When he'll go see chick flicks with me.  Love that.

Are you getting the point?  I don't need a grand romantic love, I just need Davin.

...

Forty two days until this baby is due.  Forty two days!  We still have clothes to unpack and wash, Ava's new bed to set up and get her used to, diapers to buy (I'm going cloth this time and can't decide what brand to go with!), things to get out of storage etc, etc.  We can do this...right?

I'm with you. I get so awkward when Jon tries taboo romantic gestures. But I know he really loves me when I come home to a house filled with clean dishes, a vacuumed floor, and dinner on the table. Way to tell it how it is Alli!

I can't wait to hold your little one! I miss how small Skyler was, so I can't wait to hold her small little cute face! :)
