Losing The lbs.

I have about 20 pounds to lose. We'll call it baby weight, even though I didn't gain weight while pregnant with Sunny...I choose to blame it on baby anyway.

A couple years ago I lost 18 lbs in 3 months. I went to the gym 4 times a week and ate really well.

So why don't I just do that again?

Well, I can't afford a gym pass. Even if I could afford a gym pass I wouldn't be able to afford childcare for my little people while I used it.

So why don't I exercise at home?

Ha ha ha! Let's see...I refuse to wake up before my children do because one or both of them has kept me up all night and I'm already going to be a zombie all day. Also, my two year old quit napping a year ago and my baby is the worst napper on the planet.

As far as eating right, I don't have much excuse. I just love food. Kind of a lot. I've tried different programs (such as my fitness pal) to keep track of calories but then I make something for dinner with 7 ingredients and taking the time to figure out the calories frustrates the crap out of me.

So I guess I'll just use Sundae as a weight, look in the mirror while I eat and jog in place while I brush my teeth.

I might be on to something...

Hey girly, I know I probably already mentioned this, but I think it might be something that could work for you. I'm doing the "food lovers" program. It isn't a diet so much as it teaches you how to eat (certain combos and how often you eat can help keep you in fat burning mode.) I don't do too much exercising because I have the same problems you do with finances and babysitting. This program came with a 12 minute video that I do (don't even break a sweat, just enough to get my heart pumping) and it is simple enough that Kenzie likes to do it next to me. I think Ava might have some fun doing it with you! You keep a journal of everything you eat for 21 days (don't have to watch calories, just WHAT you eat) and you learn a new tip every day so it isn't an overwhelming drastic change all at once. It comes with motivational cds that I listen to while I'm eating breakfast or lunch. I got the basic package $119 plus shipping (I think it was $139 total) and that is it. There isn't a monthly payment, just those basic materials paid for once. I have seen major changes since I started doing it in October (my mom does it too.) Watch this video and you'll see why it makes sense. Love you!! I know how frustrating it can be to lose weight, so I keep telling all my friends about this because it has helped me SO much!! https:// www . myfoodlovers . com/how-it-works (I added spaces to the link so you won't get spam or anything) Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!
