Childhood Halloween

My sisters and I on Halloween long ago.  

Can you guess which one is me?

I loved Halloween as a child.  My Mom always had great costumes ready for us, we went trick or treating with my cousins every year and came home with waaaaay too much candy.  

We'd spend ridiculous amounts of time sorting, counting and trading candy.

My Dad stayed home and passed out candy.  He'd put the stereo speakers in the windows and play spooky music.  He'd put lights up in the bushes and he always dressed up.
Streets were always crowded with kids trick or treating and no one worried about kidnappers.
I miss that.

I can't wait to make Halloween memories with my little ones!
