Davin goes in the other room while I'm sitting in the living room watching Ava (more on that in a moment) and I hear "Alli, don't come in here." Uh-oh. I immediately picture a spider the size of my head in the bedroom.
"What is it?"
No answer.
I figure it must have eaten him.
Nope, just a snake. Now, personally, I don't have much against snakes. I grew up with them in my yard and my Dad used to catch them and I had no issues. However...
IN MY BEDROOM?
No, he's not invited.
Now he's outside where he belongs. Really though, I constantly worry about spiders. I see about four a day in the house alone, let alone on the porch. Now I get to worry about snakes? Not. Cool.
Now, why was I watching Ava in the living room?
Cause she was doing this:
Yeah, she's on the potty...in the living room.
Don't judge me, it worked.
She peed on the potty (after about 45 minutes of watching Yo Gabba Gabba) for the
very first time!
So proud.

I'll be honest, I would freak if there was a snake in my house! I love the new design!!
We have a potty in our living room too.. it works! Good Job Ava!!!! Lets go to the zoo next week, no battle.
My sis in law started her kid off with the potty in the living room. You gotta do what works! Sorry about the snake, I would have freaked!
